Supervisor Agents Don't Exist Yet

The article argues that while the concept of "supervisor agents" — AI systems that oversee other AI agents — is widely discussed, such systems do not yet exist in practice. Current implementations lack the reliability, autonomy, and oversight capabilities needed for true supervision, making the term aspirational rather than descriptive of today's technology.
