Australia sues US giant 3M over 'forever chemicals' in firefighting foam

Australia has launched a lawsuit against US conglomerate 3M, alleging the company misled the government over the harmful effects of 'forever chemicals' (PFAS) used in its firefighting foam, which has contaminated water and land near defence and civil aviation sites.
