Doom64KB
Doom64KB is a port of the original Doom that runs within a boot sector, fitting entirely into a 512-byte floppy disk boot sector. It is designed to run on a 64-bit x86 CPU and demonstrates extreme code compression techniques to recreate the classic game within minimal space.
Background
- This is a GitHub repository that contains the complete source code for the 1997 video game *Doom 64* — but compressed into an extraordinarily tiny size: just 64 kilobytes (KB). For reference, a single high-resolution smartphone photo today is often 5–10 MB (5,000–10,000 KB).
