A beta version of Raspberry Pi Connect for Windows has been released, allowing Windows users to remotely access and control a Raspberry Pi desktop from a Windows machine. The client app is available for download from the Raspberry Pi website and works with the existing Connect service on the Pi side.

The feature would make the service a more direct competitor to RealVNC, which had previously been the go-to remote access solution before Pi OS 12 'Bookworm' launched. Currently, Pi Connect does not run on Windows or macOS.
