Background
- The IBM MCGA (Multi-Color Graphics Array) was a graphics chip used in the IBM PS/2 Model 30, a low-end personal computer from 1987. It's a simplified version of the better-known VGA (Video Graphics Array) — it lacks VGA's analog 640x480 mode and its ability to work with older monitor standards.
