Background
"All of Us" is an NIH program launched in 2015 (under President Obama's Precision Medicine Initiative) aiming to enroll 1M+ diverse Americans into the largest integrated genomics + health database. Most prior genomics studies are ~90% white, so insights often don't apply to other populations. This latest release includes whole genomes from 245K+ participants, ~50% from racial/ethnic groups historically excluded from research. Data links genes to electronic health records, surveys, and wearable device readings. Researchers worldwide can apply for access.
