CalyxOS Is Back
CalyxOS has resumed its official builds and releases after a period of disruption. The development team has restored the infrastructure and is now providing updated versions of the privacy-focused mobile operating system for supported devices.
Background
CalyxOS is a privacy-focused Android-based mobile operating system (a "custom ROM"), maintained by the nonprofit Calyx Institute. It removes Google apps and tracking services by default, replacing them with open-source alternatives, and offers features like a firewall, Tor support, and verified boot.
