Contact Lens Uses Microfluidics to Monitor and Treat Glaucoma

Researchers have developed a smart contact lens that uses microfluidics to continuously monitor eye pressure and deliver glaucoma medication. The lens contains microchannels and a pressure sensor to detect intraocular pressure changes. This technology could enable early detection and treatment of glaucoma without invasive procedures.
