Cahokia

Cahokia was the largest and most influential urban settlement of the Mississippian culture, located near present-day Collinsville, Illinois. It flourished between approximately 1050 and 1350 CE, featuring large earthen mounds including Monks Mound, the largest pre-Columbian earthwork in the Americas.
